Workshop title: "Emerging Technologies in Open source Web Platform"
A leading web development & designing company in the world need for highly experienced web developers / programmers. Emerging technology presents the LAMP (Linux Apache MySQL PHP): a set of free software programs commonly used together to run dynamic Web sites or servers.
With more and more complicated sites coming to the internet, LAMP can create functional and attractive websites. When anybody receives proposals from the developer, for that purpose uses LAMP which is the best technology available today. Today internet has large number of opportunities for creation and management of a website. So, LAMP can build a website absolutely free and open source.
The combined components of LAMP viz.,
· Linux is a very popular operating system;
· Apache is a web server,
· MySQL is a database
· PHP is a scripting language.
Workshop will cover the installation and configuration of Linux, Apache web server, PHP programming on Linux with Apache web server and MySQL data store.
Workshop's Contents
This Workshop introduces the deployment of Open Source Software (OSS) into the personal business servers and applications arenas. It provides a structured learning environment with hands-on experience installing, configuring, securing and implementing cost-effective web integration solutions. The workshop is designed for beginners who are new to Open Source technologies and will be responsible for installing, supporting and maintaining web applications using Open Source Solutions.
