Notice for Placement in Indian Air Force

 

We are pleased to announce that the elite Indian Air Force has invited applications from unmarried male and female Indian Citizens for grant of Short Service Commission in its Flying (Pilot) Branch for the following courses for which training will commence in July 2011. (For students of 2009 & 2010 passout and 2011 passing out candidates):

 

No. 8 SHORT SERVICE COMMISSION (MEN) FLYING (PILOT) COURSE

No. 37 SHORT SERVICE COMMISSION (WOMEN) FLYING (PILOT) COURSE

 

Eligiblity:                    √  B.Tech (All Branches) Or Graduates (Any Discipline)

                                    √ BE/B.Tech degree (Four year course) from a recognized university with

                                                    minimum 60% marks in aggregate in all papers put together OR 

                                       Graduates (three year degree course) in any discipline from a

                                       recognized university who have attained minimum 60% marks in

                                       aggregate in all papers put together and have passed Mathes and

                                       Physics at 10+2 level.

 

√   Batches: 2009, 2010 & 2011

 

 

                                                √   No Backlogs

                                                √   Age: 19 to 23 years as on 01 July 2011 i.e. born between 2nd

                                                      July 1988 and 1st July 1992 (both dates inclusive).

                                    √   Final year appearing students should be able to provide

                                                     provisional/original degree certificate latest by 15^th June 2011.

 

Advertisement for the same has been published in Employment News dated 4^th September 2010 and other leading national / regional daily newspapers on 05 September 2010 by the Indian Air Force.  All the details, such as, educational qualifications, age, procedure for selection, application format and other relevant information has been adequately covered in the advertisement.  A copy of advertisement along with application format is attached herewith and the same may also be downloaded from the Indian Air Force website: www.careerairforce.nic.in.

 

The last date for receipt of applications is 4^th October 2010

 

Eligible and willing candidates can apply as per procedure mentioned in the advertisement.

 

You are requested to intimate all the students of 2009, 2010 and 2011 batches and instruct them to apply as per procedure/instructions mentioned in the advertisement.    

 

Please note that our MCA/MBA/PGDM students may also apply only on the basis of their graduation level and not on the basis of Post Graduation (who have done their graduation in the year 2009 or 2010), if they meet all the other eligibility criteria as mentioned in the advertisement of the Indian Air Force.
