Punjab Technical University is proud to be the largest technical university of the country with more than 5 Lac students enrolled in various courses of engineering, management and pharmacy. The university has set a vision “to be one of the best technical universities in South Asia by 2015” by facilitating development of responsible and competent people for society.
In order to achieve this vision, the role of Values and Skills is complimentary. The Value Education Cell in the university is geared towards ensuring the ‘Value’ part of imparting holistic education.
The scope of work of Value Education Cell ranges from organizing trainings/conferences, designing and conducting research to developing systems & procedures. Besides, there is also need for interfacing of technology for ensuring a coordinated movement towards the vision.
In this entire process, there is ample opportunity for students to be a part of a continuously-evolving education system of this decade.
We at Value Education Cell are looking for Student-Interns to do their project training with us starting from 15th December 2011. The students should essentially have a mindset/willingness for channelizing their respective skills in the area of Value Education.
We shall take a total of 2 final year students from Computer Science. A reasonable good stipend shall be paid to the students. The place of posting shall be University headquarter , Kapurthala.
